Roasted broccoli tossed with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of seasoning—crispy, golden, and full of flavor. Simple, healthy, and totally delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of frozen broccoli

  • 4 medium carrots, peeled and cut into ½ inch chunks

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a large bowl place the thawed broccoli, carrots, garlic, olive oil and crushed red pepper flakes.

  3. Toss to coat.

  4. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.

  5. Transfer to a baking sheet.

  6. Roast in preheat oven for 25 minutes or until lightly brown and tender.

  7. Remove from the oven.

  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using) and serve.

How can I prevent soggy broccoli?

You can just thaw and pat it dry first before cooking to avoid soggy texture.
